The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting company Sales goals by assisting Account Managers & Energy Brokers in day to day tasks and projects across a wide network of Suppliers, Products, & Geographies.

This is an opportunity for a recent college graduate with some business experience or a more seasoned professional with previous sales support or administrative experience, to join & play a key role in the most exciting company in the Retail Energy industry, while receiving on the job training and preparation to grow and develop into more senior roles within the organization.

  • Supporting a pod of internal staff and external partners in day-to-day activities relating to sales efforts
  • Answering inbound calls and emails with a positive attitude and upbeat demeanor
  • Communicating with internal & external stakeholders with a natural sense of ease and self-confidence maintaining partner satisfaction
  • Establishing active & effective communication, collaboration and engagement within various departments
  • Scheduling information requests and following up as requests become due
  • Monitoring accounts and following up on outstanding confirmations, requests and filings
  • Sending out contracts, confirmations, renewal information and account status updates to internal and external partners
  • Keeping partners and staff updated on issues relating to deal processing
  • Running reports & tracking and communicating issues in an effective and timely manner
  • Scheduling Travel arrangements and making reservations for client meetings
  • Completing and assisting in special projects on an as needed basis
  • Tracking & organizing information in a fast-paced environment
  • Learning about suppliers, brokers, products, and internal software tools & programs to support ongoing business activities

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Sales, Marketing, Business, or another relevant field
  • 1 year of experience in Sales Support, Administrative Support, Customer Service or Business Administration in an office setting
  • Smart, detail oriented, self-motivated with excellent administrative and customer service skills
  • Positive, upbeat and encouraging disposition
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear and approachable demeanor
  • Proficiency in performing and tracking multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to assist team with any additional work as needed with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new programs and processes
  • Ability to multitask in a small team-based environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office programs

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year (includes Base Pay + Commissions)
